La question de octobre
How did it feel to have your World Record in the 500m broken after it had stood for ten years? |
|

Répondue par
Catriona Le May Doan
I knew that my record was going to be broken and I always knew that the moment was coming. The last few years everyone was saying, "This is the year Catriona, your record is going down."
At the final event of the season last March it was broken. In a way it was hard, because elements outside of the skating (ice conditions, air pressure) were perfect. But you know, records were made to be broken. The fact of the matter is that the person who broke it, said that she had always looked up to me. So, I think that if I could be one little part of helping her go fast - then I can't complain about that.
